How can we be humanly responsible and accept all situations from the Lord at the same time to live a proper human life?
[#17 Q2] I’m confused because the saints often say to accept all our situations as from the Lord. However, shouldn’t we also be humanly responsible and deal with the situations? I’m confused with how to address situations humanly while also accepting them as from the Lord at the same time. I feel like if I’m being responsible and trying to fix a situation, then I’m not accepting it as from the Lord. But if we accept all difficult situations as from the Lord and don’t humanly deal with them, how can we live a proper and normal human life?
In Question and Response (Q&R) sessions, a group of invited panelists respond to questions submitted by students and young adults during the week. The panelists are generally older and more experienced brothers in the Lord who have the burden to respond to our questions by sharing both the truth from the Bible and their experiences in life.
It is important to point out that these brothers do not presume to have the answers to our questions. Rather, they are willing to provide a response in fellowship, and to encourage us to personally go to the Lord and consider all these things before Him.
