2021 UNIVERSITY TRAINING
UK & IRELAND

12-17 September

Registration deadline (extended!): 29 August

Bible Reading Schedule

Schedule

We will spend a lot of our time at Carronvale House to fellowship, eat, recreate, and  be together under the Lord’s speaking. Since we will be located in between Glasgow and Edinburgh, we also intend to travel to both cities during the week of the training in order to blend with the local saints and participate in gospel activities during the Freshers Fayres.

Registration Fee

The registration fee is 150 GBP.  This will go towards the costs of accommodation, food, and travel during the week, and your handbook.

Travel Options

You will need to cover the cost of your own travel to the university training on 12 September and departure from the university training on 17 September.  Please find more information on the travel options below:

  • Vehicle – You are welcome to drive or catch a ride with someone. Driving from London to Carronvale House is all-day journey, so be prepared for that, or consider splitting the ride into two days and staying in a locality halfway in between (Birmingham, Coventry, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham, Manchester, Sheffield).  If you need contact details for the brothers and sisters in those localities, you can check with some saints in your area or email us at events@unistudents.eu. If you are traveling from another major city in the UK that is north of London, you will probably not need to split up your journey into two days, unless you wish to.
  • Plane – There are direct, affordable flights from London or Dublin or Belfast airports to either Glasgow or Edinburgh. You can find those flights using a website like https://www.skyscanner.net/ or https://www.google.com/flights.  Once you arrive in Edinburgh or Glasgow, you can take a shuttle from the airport to Glasgow Queen Street (Glasgow) or Haymarket (Edinburgh) from where you can take a direct train to Larbert Station.  We will have shuttles running from Larbert Station to Carronvale House.  The station is a 15-minute walk from Carronvale House.
  • Train – If traveling from London, you can take a direct train from London Euston to Glasgow Central.  Most of the other major cities in the UK will either have direct trains or a train with a transfer that can get you to Glasgow or Edinburgh.  From Glasgow Central, you would need to make your way to Glasgow Queen Street, where you could then take a direct train to Larbert Station, where we have a shuttle running to Carronvale House. From Edinburgh Waverly, you can take a direct train to Larbert Station.

If you have any questions about travel arrangements, please email us at events@unistudents.eu.

“Go up to the mountain and bring wood and build the house, and I will take pleasure in it and will be glorified, says Jehovah.”

Haggai 1:8

Further information will be posted on this website, and an email will be sent out once registration opens.
