Ezekiel 40:47

Location and Travel

This year the conference will be in Someren, the Netherlands at a conference centre called De Hoof.

Airports and Trains

De Hoof is not far from Eindhoven Airport in the Netherlands and Dusseldorf Airport in Germany.  One of the shuttle locations, Helmond Train Station, is on the direct train line from Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.  We recommend using a service like Google Maps or Rome2Rio to figure out the best way for you to get to De Hoof, if you are traveling via public transport.

Shuttles

There will be shuttles between Eindhoven Airport/Helmond Train Station and the conference venue.  If you choose the shuttle service when you register for the conference, an additional €15 will be added to your total registration fee.  This is a round-trip shuttle service.

We recommend you try to time your arrival to either of the shuttle locations between 4 PM and 6:30 PM on Friday, 22 March.

If you want to come early to help with conference setup, please email us at events@unistudents.eu so we can work out an earlier shuttle for you. If you are arriving before or after the time window mentioned above, we won’t leave you stranded, but please contact us at events@unistudents.eu so we can ensure you will have a shuttle.

We recommend that you book train departures from Helmond Train Station after 1:30 PM on Sunday, 24 March, if you don’t want to miss anything happening on the last day of the conference.

Coach from London

The coach will depart from Euston Road, outside King’s Cross Station at 7.30am on Friday, 22nd March 2024. Please arrive at the pickup location 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time to ensure there is no delay.

Seats are limited (only 53) and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Cost: £80 (register and pay here)

The deadline to reserve your seat is Lord’s Day, 10 March 2024 (the same date as the conference registration deadline).

“The altar, which signifies the cross of Christ, is the center not only of the inner court but also of the entire premises of the temple. This altar is actually the center of the universe. As the center of the universe, the cross points to the all-inclusive death of Christ, which involved God, man, and all the creatures (see note 132 in ch. 43). The death on the cross was the release of God (Luke 12:49-50; John 12:24) and the termination of man and all negative things (Rom. 6:6; Heb. 2:14; 9:26-28; Gal. 6:14; Eph. 2:14-15). In Christ’s death God passed through death in man to be released, and man died in God to be terminated.

The cross is not only the center but also the circumference of God’s holy building. The cross is implied in the gate, in the eating of the sacrifices, in the boiling houses, and in the tables on which the sacrifices are slain. Thus, the cross spreads in every direction and to every corner of God’s building. If we wish to contact God and enjoy His riches in His house, we must pass through the cross.”

Ezekiel 40:47, footnote 1
