NACT Day 5 – We need a universal love!

Thursday, 20th July

It wasn’t easy to wake up and keep the schedule this morning! We are all running a little late.

But the encouragement in the morning revival fellowship was to learn to quiet our soul and follow the inner anointing in our personal times with the Lord. Don’t put the Lord in a box – inquire with Him how He would like to spend time with us!

“My soul, wait in silence for God alone, / For my expectation is from Him.”

– Psalms 62:5

Hungry for breakfast and hungry for more of the Lord today!

Gathering downstairs to walk to the meeting.

Practicing our verses while we wait!
Verses cheat sheet! We get the verses, announcements, group time instructions, etc, all in the NACT app we are using this week.

“For the sake of the truth which abides in us and will be with us forever:” (2 John 2)
Many of the UK saints ended up sitting together this morning!
Fill us today! Oh Lord Jesus!

Love is the MOST excellent way!

Putting down our roots by the river of living water – in Spanish and English!
The Full Knowledge of the Truth – did you know rainbows are actually circle (eternal!) when seen from the air? We want to be brought to another position to get to know this PERSON, which happens through the WORD.

“We need to touch God’s desire for us to come to the full knowledge of the truth and respond by loving the truth, daily reading the Bible, and building up a habit of studying the truth in His Word in order to be constituted with the full knowledge of the truth. We should spend time to diligently learn all the aspects of the truth in the Bible so we can know them ourselves and speak them clearly to others.”

– Focus Statement from Holding to Truth, message four
The test today went to Boston seniors and recent graduates, and Austin freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Some of us really thought it might have been the UK today!

This time the brothers had everyone line up and take turns. If you didn’t know the answer then you just went to the back of the line.
The practical fellowship today was on studying the truth, and then LSM gave a presentation showing a lot of the resources available to us – the Recovery Version app, 500 Life-studies app and, free eBooklets we can read and share with our friends, hymns of life and truth, and the newsletter. These are all linked on
These can be stuck on laptops, water bottles, phone cases, etc, and not only remind us of but can also be conversation starters, as we’ve been practicing in our small groups this week!
Frisbee at recreation time.
Singing to the Lord and for everyone back home 🙂
Group time – Christ! Is the tree of life!
Mashed potato for dinner today – yay!
Another evening, another meeting! Forgetting and leaving all other things, love Him with Your whole being!
New song: We Need a Universal Love (Song 58)
What made You Lord to die for me?
Back in our Father’s house again!
A little bit more of the brothers enjoying the Father in the Father’s house!
A universal love is a love for the Lord, for all the brothers, and the love that God has for ALL men!
We love the Lord, and we love the brothers! But are we satisfied with just that?
The brothers illustrating having open gates for many more to come in!

Our overflow from tonight’s message on A Universal Love:

“I’m exposed that my not having the love towards people, be it towards the saints or towards non-believers, is because of my lack of pursuit of God as love. I don’t want to stop pursuing God as love! Only with God’s divine love can I truly love others.”

“We don’t preach the gospel, not because we lack something to speak, but because we are short of love. Actually, we love ourselves too much to lose face and tell someone that God loves them and died for them. If we really loved all men, we would willingly share the love of Christ with them – rather than disqualifying them. How we need to partake of the divine nature to become agape to all men!”

“Would you withhold the love of God from other people? We should not stop with the personal and corporate love, but allow God to saturate and soak us that we could become the same as God and love all men as He so loved the world.”

“As we continue to partake of the divine nature, virtue, knowledge of God, self control, endurance, godliness, brotherly love, and agape develop within us!”

“O God, You are love. Our human love is so short, we have no capacity to love all men. Lord everyday remind us to partake of Your love and nature. That Your love would abide in us and we in You. That we would become You and full of agape.”

“We have no ability nor capacity to love, but God desire us to be the same as He is. Let’s all be partakers of the divine nature, be constitute by God’s love and develop feelings for our fellow men. ❤️”

1 Thes 1:5 “For our gospel did not come to you in word only…even as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.”

“What we are is more important than what we can do or say. As we continue to partake of the divine nature, this universal love is produced in us to love all men, which reaches the unbelievers. As a result, it does not matter whether our words are received or rejected, but those we contact are touched by God as the divine love living through us.”

We had a very front and centre seat on the video and photo-taking day!
Taking the group photo with JEEEESUS!
Behind the scenes footage – probably the video recorded will be posted on Instagram @collegetraining and YouTube Summer College Training. The official hashtag is #NACT2023.

Tomorrow is the last full day of the North America College Training! (It finishes on Saturday after lunch). The time has flown by, and we are really enjoying it! May the Lord keep pouring out more of His love in our hearts this next 36 hours!

“That which we have seen and heard we report also to you that you also may have fellowship with us, and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.”

-1 John 1:3
