NACT Day 3 – More receiving the love of the truth!

Tuesday, 18th July

Good morning everyone! In morning group fellowship we watched a video about having a set time and set place to spend time with the Lord, and setting our mind on the spirit. The enemy brings in lots of the distractions but we can learn to RETURN to our spirit and not feel the need to repent every time.

Breakfast! Eggs, sausages, waffles, vegetable patties, yogurt, fruit, potatoes, bagels, COFFEE!

Getting physically refuelled for the day. We are getting more familiar with the schedule!

Spending personal time with the Lord in the morning.

They gave us all clear bags yesterday. We now enter the auditorium much faster!

Working our way closer to the front!

We wanna be filled the Triune God today!

Lord, we choose to receive the love of the truth today (Song 62)

We learnt a new song: Love prevails! Love never fails! (Song 54)

More of the lyrics of the new songs can be found here: collegetraining.org/song-supplement-app.

Holding to Truth, message 2: What is Truth?

Answer: Behold the Man!
What is your favourite thing in God’s creation?
What divine characteristic is shown in this?

You are wonderfully made in the image of God!

The brothers and sisters from the southern states in the US were tested today.

Mental Health fellowship. It was very helpful and practical.

It was enlightening to see the four common encumbrances that we can open to the Lord and consider to see if these are holding us back:

1. Our wounds from our past experiences
(thinking error: over-generalisation)

2. Unforgiven offences
(thinking error: mind-reading)

3. Our failures with sin
(thinking error: emotional reasoning)

4. Our past spiritual experiences
(thinking error: unfair comparisons – with both our past self and other people)

Hopefully the recording of the fellowship will be made available and we can share it with you all!

During the week, we have the opportunity to sign up for shepherding appointments with medical and mental health professionals. The saints have also prepared a website of mental health resources for Christians: https://wellwithmysoul.info and there are recordings from previous mental health sessions there also.

It is important to take care of our mental health because we are tripartite beings: spirit and soul and body. How can we enjoy the Lord if the organ responsible for enjoyment is not healthy?

It is a common myth that we are alone in our experience, but we are not alone! Almost everyone in the room put up their hand when we were asked if either we or someone we know struggles with our mental health. We were encouraged to remember this moment the next time the enemy lies to us that we are alone!

Bible reading. Romans 1 & 2.

“For the invisible things of Him, both His eternal power and divine characteristics, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being perceived by the things made, so that they would be without excuse.”

Romans 1:20

Time for Love Prevails, message 3 – The First and Best Love!
Hallelujah! Amen!
(“Oh may a clear controlling vision,” with actions.)

Another new song: You Have a Forever Love For Me (Song 57)

Many of the UK saints took the opportunity to share after the message.

Our enjoyment from the evening message that we would like to share with you all:

“The top commandment is loving the Lord!”

“‘And you shall love the Lord your God from your whole heart and from your whole soul and from your whole mind and from your whole strength.’ (Mark 12:30)

You shall rather than you should – it’s our destiny to love the Lord our God with everything we have!! ❤️”

“Sometimes we’re like a horse in our walk with the Lord – full of natural zeal and energy, wanting do things with our own effort. The Lord doesn’t want anything of our natural life – just be open to be in love with Him, and to receive Him as Love itself.”

“Hallelujah, what pleases God the most is that we love Him. He doesn’t want us to do anything, but that we would just love Him! Nothing but love can keep us in a proper relationship with Him! Lord we love You.”

“Judas would say, ‘Why did you waste it on Him!?’

The answer would be, ‘Because He’s worth it!'”

“The Lord reminded me that I only have one life to pour out to the Lord. I want to seize the opportunity to love Him!”

“Loving the Lord does not start with us, we love because God first loved us!”

“If I found you outside, I would kiss you, / And none would despise me.” Song of Songs 8:1 ❤️

“Take the opportunity now! To pour out on Him. The 2 sisters after his resurrection were too late! They missed it! Wow”

“When you’re alone in your bedroom, after the meeting, that is when the Lord wants to gain you. If there is no romance between us and the Lord, we are religious Christians. ‘Lord Jesus, cause me to love You; show me Your loveliness, Your sweetness.’ The loveliness of Christ can wreck us!”

“When I get ‘squeezed’ by a situation, environment, or person, I’d like love to come out of me. For this, I need to be thoroughly saturated with the Lord Jesus. ❤️”

“Nothing but love can keep us in a proper relationship with the Lord.”

“Just love Him.”

“The Lord doesn’t want us to do anything besides to just love Him. Many times we are stuck in perfecting the container of this love but forget about the contents. Lord do cause us to return to Your precious love!”

“His love will make us His duplication.”

“Nothing pleases God so much as for us to realise He does not want us to do anything but only to love Him and be open vessels to Him.”

“Nothing is more precious than wasting on Him. What we pour upon Him is not a waste but a fragrant testimony of His sweetness. It is such a blessing to be wasted on Him.”

“Solomon and the country girl are a type of Christ and the church. He stooped down to our level to court us, woo us, and win us.

“We initially are a “horse” to the Lord, but regardless He still fell in love with us, and by His loving us we are transformed to match Him as His counterpart.

“Lord, may we continue to know and experience You as love so that we can love You in return.”

Keep us open, and keep us receiving, Lord Jesus!

“That which we have seen and heard we report also to you that you also may have fellowship with us, and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.”
