Chicago Part 3: Lord’s Day blending and sightseeing

Lord’s day, 23rd July

Tasting that Lord is good with the church in Streamwood this morning!

The Lord is also sweet and tasty in Spanish!

The saints reserved all the time for those who went to NACT to share during the second part of the meeting! That included saints from the UK, France, Mexico, and also Streamwood itself.

Some of us were also in the Lord’s Table in Chicago.
We sang before we ended the prophesying meeting.
Another love feast with the dear saints in Streamwood!
Streamwood group going to downtown Chicago.
Ready for a Chicago adventure! (Also some brothers sharing the gospel.)
Boarding the Metra train to downtown Chicago for the day.

Second story train experience.

Another group from Streamwood on a quieter part of the train.
Arrived at Union Station in Downtown Chicago.
In the meantime, Chicago and Lemont saints who arrived earlier having lunch at Raising Cane’s.

Early arrivals at the Bean waiting for the Streamwood group to arrive.

Successful group picture at the Bean.
Also a successful reflected pic!

We split up into smaller groups to explore the city.

Near the biggest Starbucks.
Near Navy Pier.

Boba by Navy Pier.

Riverside walk.
City walk.
Wrigley Tower, walking down the Magnificent Mile.
The John Hancock Tower is very tall.
Some of us went for the 360 experience.
94 floors closer to the sun!
360 The View: My block. My hood. My city.
The Tilt.
Chicago from above.
Chicago Lakeshore Drive.
Zebulun loaded with goods… ready to go out and preach the gospel.
Chicago skyline from 360
Birds eye view of Navy Pier (some saints were down there).

Chicago also has some good food.

Chicago is famous for Deep Dish pizza, and this is why!

More groups at the Bean.

Dinner at Navy Pier with host families.
Finally, the sun has set and it is time to head back home to our hospitalities!

“That which we have seen and heard we report also to you that you also may have fellowship with us, and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.”
