East Coast (Northerners): Day 5 – Breakfast at the Youngs, lunch in Charleston, travel to Lexington, dinner at Lexington meeting hall

Saturday, 15 July

The next morning the brothers came over from their hospitalities to the Youngs (where the sisters stayed) to have breakfast.

The weather was really nice so some of us decided to sit outside in the garden.

An amazing breakfast picture out in the sun, making the food look extra delicious.
We left some hospitality gifts which we carefully selected featuring some pieces from Italy and Scotland.

Our departing picture from the Youngs. Hopefully it won’t be too long until the next time we meet again. ✈️ It was so lovely to spend time with them it felt like home away from home for many of us.

Next stop: West Virginia!

We met with sister Ellen in Charleston and had some fun auto-driving through the woods!

Listening intently to the testimony of how the Lord had been faithful in wherever He leads brother Rick in the world. UK, Albania, Greece, USA etc.

Waiting for the delicious BBQ to be ready as we’re all hungry for lunch.

Lining up to get the BBQ and amazing homemade salad, coleslaw and potato salad.

Once again listening to the testimony of this time brother Allen and his time in Charleston.
We were all very touched by their testimony and their faithfulness to the Lord’s calling.

Sadly, we only had very little time we were able to spend with these dear saints but the love we felt just from the very short period of time was unspeakable. It felt like family sending their children off as they waved us goodbye as we depart to our next and final stop before the NACT.

After a long day of driving, we arrived just in time for dinner with some saints and young people in the meeting hall in Lexington.

We were joined by some brothers from Boston who were also on their way road-tripping to the NACT.

Enjoying meeting people and blending together.

An intense game of foosball.

I want to be filled up, up, up!

We learnt some new actions to the song “Roots by the River.” We really enjoyed learning the new actions and they were also very fun to watch.

Saints together from the UK, Boston, Germany, Atlanta all together in Lexington as our last stop before the NACT. See you all at the NACT!

“That which we have seen and heard we report also to you that you also may have fellowship with us, and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.”
