East Coast (Northerners): Day 4 – Saying goodbye to our Fairfax hospitalities, Bible museum in DC, and Charlottesville meeting.

Friday, 14th July

The next morning we all had breakfast in our respective hospitalities. The one pictured above is the brother’s house in Fairfax which some of our brothers stayed with.

Our hospitalities had some very cute dogs and rabbits as well. This one above is Darcy.

Left: Jakey; right: Codey (Codey is actually older than Jakey by one year!)
We’ve arrived at the Bible Museum!

Can you guess the verse?

And guess who we spotted!

We said goodbye to the other group as we had a lot to see and explore.

Before we left, we had a brief driving tour around the main sightseeing spots around Washington DC. The Capitol building and the Washington Monument.

Our first time trying Chick-fil-A and let’s just say we were all pretty impressed. Especially with the sauces.

Some singing time and sharing of testimonies from various saints in Charlottesville, Virginia.

A lovely picture of us in front of the Ma’s house
who opened their homes that night to roughly 40-50 people.

All the sisters stayed at Jacob and Sharon’s place which are the parents of a family serving in Leeds. It was so nice to see familiar faces dotted around the house. The Youngs were so welcoming and loved to see us, this time in America.

This was the only time all the sisters got to stay in one hospitality together and we really treasured this time. There was a grand piano which quite a few of us enjoyed playing on and singing and enjoying the Lord together.

“That which we have seen and heard we report also to you that you also may have fellowship with us, and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.”
