Part 2: Semiannual Training Day 2 – personal time with the Lord

In the mornings, from 8:15 to 8:45 am, we would have personal morning revival. This was 30 minutes spent purely with the Lord. The MCC was a great place to walk around and there were plenty of sitting areas to read the Bible, pray-read, sing, and pray to the Lord.

Outside the Ministry Conference Centre

At the start of the week, half an hour seemed quite a long time compared to the seven minutes we would usually have at young people’s conferences. However, towards the end of the week, half an hour was not enough! We really learnt how to build a personal and intimate relationship with the Lord, thoroughly dealing with our sins, and digesting His word. May we continue to give our mornings to know the Lord.

Message Three
The Change of Our Diet to the Heavenly Christ
as the Reality of the Heavenly Manna
So that We May Be Reconstituted with Christ
to Become God’s Dwelling Place

Our Enjoyment: The Lord desires to show the nature of His people and that they need to be reconstituted. We are reconstituted through eating! We eat the heavenly manna which the Lord has given us. In the New Testament we see that the reality of this manna is Jesus. John 6:57 says, “As the living Father has sent Me and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also shall live because of Me.” The Lord wants us to eat Him. Lord increase our eating capacity for You!

Message Four
Speaking to the Rock to Drink of the Spirit as the Water of Life
and Digging the Well to Allow the Spirit
as the Water of Life to Flow Freely within Us.

Our Enjoyment: Christ is our begetting rock, our salvation, our strength, and our protection. This rock has water flowing out. We need to drink this water of life and allow it to flow in our spirit. To drink of the Spirit as water of life is by our speaking directly to Christ. For this water of life to flow freely within us, we must dig away any barriers in our conscience, mind, emotion and will – we must dig all the ‘dirt’ out of our hearts. May we pray that we would be pure in heart and seek only the Lord Himself.

“That which we have seen and heard we report also to you that you also may have fellowship with us, and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.”
